What you said meant totally different to someone else

Have you ever been in a situation where you carefully said something and it was interpreted by someone as very different than what you ment.. They could simply repeat the words you have used and they say that you meant something different than what you said. What do you do in this situation..

I think you have no control over how another person is thinking and interpreting the words. The only option you are left with is to say something and ask for what they understood. You can clarify what you said .. but then it is upto the person who is listening to accept what you have to say.

You have no control over it .. this is only true when we have said things very clearly and with a context around it. If not we are partly to blame as we have not provided enough context and background of what we have to say.

One thing is for sure is that we cannot make people think our way .. as to exactly what we are trying to say with the context.. We have to generalize the information when we share and go deep only when people have the context and are willing to communicate otherwise they will not understand and give you a bad press.

In some ways it is better to talk less to these people.. but than you will have so many people like that around you.. We need to improve our communication to be able to package the communication as per the individual .. I think it is a constant learning and trying to be better.. or avoid these kind of people and talk less to them.

Soul Purpose in Life Rahu (North Node) and Ketu (South Node) in Astrology

Many people generally ask a question about what is my purpose in life, who I am and what I am going to do. Rahu and Ketu are two points who defined the karmic fate of a person. Rahu and Ketu are the points where the Sun and Moon orbit line cross each other. Rahu and Ketu are the great forces which are within us. They are our subconscious minds who work to evolve us and to understand about life. In the story of ocean churning milk, they are the demons and serpents which were cheated by Gods. They are the enemy of the Sun and Moon. They want to eclipse the Sun and Moon. Sun and Moon rules the Ajna chakra and Rahu and Ketu are serpent energy (Kundalini). When Kundalini rises Rahu and Ketu become one. Then the person gets moksha from physical life.

These are our subconscious forces and want to teach us lessons of life where we are lacking. They are confused forces. One is confused because it doesn’t know anything and the other is confused because of overconfidence. One wants to learn things very fast and the other criticises things because they already know it. They create the smoke of illusion (maya) from which we have to pull ourselves out. We cannot see Rahu and Ketu generally, but we can see them on eclipse day when Sun, Moon and earth come in one line and there is shadow of the Moon. They act like a magnetic field, we cannot see the magnetic field but if any iron object comes into the magnetic field they attract the object. They are the real force who compel us to come on this earth or leave this world forever.

So when it comes to finding out about destiny or purpose of life, Rahu and Ketu can be very strong indicators. The Rahu and Ketu nodes are the karmic fate of the person. These show one of the most  interesting things. Rahu and Ketu are the indicators to help you remember why you are here and from where you come. Rahu and Ketu nodes do a really good job of reminding us of our purpose in life. Rahu and Ketu are the life force which shows what area of life we need to work on and what area we don't need to.

North Node (Rahu) of the signs quality and then you learn in this life, other side the South Node (Ketu) are the qualities that we are good at and the qualities that we can always fall back on. In astrology, the South Node is our past life's qualities we have already mastered in our past lives. Ketu shows mature areas of life and Rahu shows what areas of life we are immature and need to do work on.

How to understand my soul purpose?

Depending on the sign and house placement of the Rahu and Ketu one can understand thier life purpose or their desire. Why they incarnate in this world and what is their karma in this lifetime. And if they are placed with any planet it means the person needs to work on those qualities also.

Let’s say if someone has Rahu and Ketu axis fall in the 1st and 7th house it means the person needs to work on the 1st house qualities and they don’t need work on the 7th house qualities. If Rahu sits next to the Moon it means, a person needs to work on Moon related qualities. Moon is the mind and emotions. It shows the person is very weak in managing their emotion and here the person needs to learn about the emotions.

To understand your purpose and karma of life please check Rahu and Ketu axis in house and sign placement in the birth chart.

Karma and How Fate / Destiny Works Together

You may have heard people say.. it is in my fate or destiny so i kinda need to live with it. How is fate possible .. If we planned to go out and then decide not to go out.. is it the fate was not to go out .. How do we know? Is there some element of free will?

Definition of Karma found on web: The sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.

So in someways our actions is driving our fate
  1. Actions(Karma) ----> Drives------> Fate/Destiny
(as our fate is based on the past and present actions)

In some ways fate needs to originate at some point in time, somewhere, somehow.. accepting fate/destiny without the context of Karma will be incomplete and disastrous. If fate exists without karma then we don't need to take an action and be responsible for anything that happens.. oops!!!

FateKarma (Action)
1It is in my fate to argueThink before you argue
2It is in my fate not to like youFind a reason for not liking.. give love to get love
3It is in my fate to be angryStop being Angry and be Practical to resolve the issue
4It is in my fate to misbehavedKarma won't let you misbehave
5It is in my fate to be miserable or UnhappyFind the reason and fix it
6It is in my fate to be poorFind some work or get better and not be Poor

Imagine how the world will be like if it was all in the fate and no one had any control or freewill.... I think it is the nature of a week mind not to take responsibility of the actions if they don't turn out to be as expected or desired and have fate as a reason for it. Most of the successful people take the responsibility of their actions (karma) and deal with what doesn't work out the way it was expected.

If we don't save for old-age when we are growing-up.. we cannot blame fate for now be able to afford our selves when we are unable to work.

If we don't educate our children when they are young.. We cannot blame them for not having a successful career.

When bad things happen to a person.. it is said probably "it was in their fate" as there is lack of explanation as to why it happened to them. In a way whatever happened get over it and do what make things right. Instead people accept it as a fate and do nothing.. which is like disengaging in life and bringing misery.

The gap between the desires/needs and the KARMA causes unhappiness and creates uneasy mind. The thought is to make desires/needs as less as possible so we have to engage less or have KARMA aligned with desires/needs to have a peaceful mind. We cannot escape  KARMA as we need to take care of this body and not be a burden on society. KARMA is a must the only question is .. will it be less or more. Even becoming a yogi is a karma. I don't see it any differently..  we have to engage at some level.

With yoga and meditation we see things clearly with a peaceful mind, able to make the right calls and engage in life. KARMA IS ABOUT ENGAGING IN LIFE. imaging the opposite.. people don't know what is going on and what will happen next :-).

When we engage in life we are peaceful inside as we are working towards a goal and have a sense of purpose .. which is so different than a drifter who has no idea what is coming next as they are driven by fate.

There are many books written on successful people .... have not seen fate as a major factor in what they have achieved. Luck has been attributed to their success in some instance as they were able to see the opportunity and were the right person in the right place at the right time. In someways this can be attributed to Karma as they were willing to engage in life.

let's assume everyone believes in KARMA. We will become a self governed society .. every individual will be careful of their action as they know for anything bad they will do they will be answerable.

Astrology can help us find where we are challenged in this lifetime. It can be used as a tool for self understanding and improvement which in-turn helps us in getting engaged in life. Don't let Planetary influences be limiting on you.

Change your fate now by engaging in GOOD KARMA,

Without Karma there is no Fate.. we need to accept  & understand.

What we do today will make our tomorrow, So we are creating our own fate/destiny.
