Wedding/Marriage Date/Time Astrology

Wedding/Marriage Date/Time Astrology

Marriage is an institution of varied association. “Marriage is made in heaven”. Marriage is fixed by destiny. Marriage is the union of a man and a woman who make a permanent and exclusive commitment to each other. But does this really happen in reality?

Marriage is a big decision in everyone's life and therefore it is very important to choose Marriage date carefully.

People who believe in Astrology are a big help for them because there is always influence from planets according to their astrological position in the sky. As above, so below, it is good to know in advance what kind of planetary alignment is in the sky so that the marriage ceremony should perform without any hassle. Having a good astrological date according to the planets in the sky may avoid many problems in Marriage.

First I want to start from the days of the week which comes in the panchang.

Monday: Is good.

Tuesday: Not good. Those people who marry on Tuesday, they always have qrellosome problems in their Married life.

Wednesday: Is good.

Thursday: Best day

Friday: Excellent

Saturday: Those people Marry on Saturday have obstruction, delay and increase chances of divorces.

Sunday: Not good. Gives ego problems in married life.

Now comes on the planets

Moon: There is a phase of the Moon.

Waning Moon: Not good.

Waxing Moon: Is good.

There are some tithi (dates) which are good and some are not good.

The lunar cycle takes a total of 30 days. From one New Moon to the next. The days of the lunar cycle are called Tithis. The tithis are numbered from 1 to 15. They repeat for each half of the lunar cycle. Each of these “lunar days” also has a specific effect. Certain tithis are positive and others tithis are considered negative. Therefore more prone towards problems. The 4th, 9th, and 14th days of the lunar cycle both of the waxing and the waning halves are designated as Ritka, meaning empty for results. The Ritka tithis are generally avoided for Marriage ceremonies.

Now comes to the Venus planet of love

Venus is strongest in the signs of Taurus, Libra, and Pisces: Is good.

Venus conjunct with Jupiter: Is good

Venus in the signs of her detriment and fall like, Scorpio, Aries, Capricorn and Virgo: Not good.

If Venus retrograde: Not good.

If Venus conjunct with Saturn, Mars and Sun: Not good.

House in the birth chart

Planets in angular houses are the most powerful planets in the chart. Pick a time for your ceremony when the benefics, Venus and Jupiter, are angular and well aspected in the wedding chart.

When Venus or Jupiter transiting to the Ascendant, or 7th house cusp of the chart: Is good.

When Saturn, Mars or Sun transiting to Ascendant, or 7th house cusp of the chart: Not good.

The Lunar nodes, Rahu and Ketu are always opposite each other, are placed in the 1st and 7th house for one of the parties. Rahu, the planet who causes eclipses, when posited in the first house: NOT GOOD.

These are some astrological configurations which should be looked for on the Marriage date.
